Computer & Internet Training Prices from 1/1/2013

Bay Connect conducts training in  Hervey Bay (at our new office 1/15 Hunter Street - Corner of Torquay Rds , Pialba.  The training room is comprised of 10 computers that run Windows XP, fully equipped with printer, digi-scanners, and disability access. There is no training available in Maryborough, due to the closure of the training room there. Residents are very welcome in the Hervey Bay Classes.  Training in basic Internet usage has been conducted for 3000 people. Additionally 100 volunteers have undergone advanced training. Windows Seven Training is also available - see below - Bookings for all training can be made by contacting Bay Connect in 2013 on 4128 3400.

Advanced Courses

The following courses are available subject to minimum class numbers of 6.  These courses are specialist courses and concession discounts may not apply.  Please CONTACT US for pricing information or to register your interest in a future course.

Windows 7 -Covers all aspects of these new operating systems - 12 hours over 2 days and can include a training manual for future reference at an additional cost. Does NOT include Internet studies. For Centrelink clients this is $ 8.80 per hour.

PREREQUISITES FOR THIS COURSE - COMPLETION OF INTERNET STUDIES WITH A CURRENT HOTMAIL EMAIL ADDRESS

For those returning to work - 2 week long courses in all form of Microsoft Office Products from Beginners to advanced, call office for details and even ask Karen if you job network could possibly assist. Subjects include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
