Health Facilities

All levels of Government offer health services in Hervey Bay.

The Fraser Coast Regional Council departments offer advice on environment and health including immunisation, waste disposal and community support services.

At State Government level, offices of the Queensland Departments of Health and Families, Youth and Community Care are located in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. A School Dental Service is available.

The Federal Government offices of Medicare and Rehabilitation Services may be accessed locally. Hervey Bay's Hospital provides 24 hour treatment of accidents and emergencies as well as access to medical, surgical, maternity, renal and allied health services.
