Reference Groups

The Fraser Coast Regional Council and  Fraser Coast  Tourism  extensively support the business community on the Fraser Coast. Both bodies actively encourage responsible tourism and economic development initiatives. The Queensland Government Department of State Development also provides assistance for the establishment of new business opportunities within the Fraser Coast region.

Bay Connect, through its strategy of providing opportunities for local enterprises to promote themselves and conduct business electronically by improved community links, hope to improve the viability of local small businesses and industries and stimulate the economy of the Fraser Coast.

Local business associations such as the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Hervey Bay City Heart Association provide support and assistance for local business ventures.
