Sarina Russo will be holding the training for 2011 & 2012 within this training room, referrals from the case managers will be forwarded to Bay Connects administration and classes set for office products, basic and intermediate computer and Internet studies and even web design.
Bay Connect also offers a fully equipped computer training facility that is available for hire. Training staff are also available if required. Training Classes are held in all forms of computer training including Windows Seven and digital camera training with discounts available to those on a centrelink benefit.
Employment opportunities exist in a wide range of vocations but there is a particular emphasis on service industries to support the burgeoning tourism market. A number of employment services are based in the Wide Bay community.
