Bay Connect, is a service managed by The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood centre and welcomes locals and tourists to our website.
Our Office is located at 1/15 Hunter Street, Pialba ( corner of Hunter St. and Torquay Rd.)

Our Staff and Volunteers are available to assist you in finding the right course for you or to help you with your computer problems. Please phone ahead to insure there is someone available.
Bay connect offers a Public internet service and it is available to the public during office hours for $2.00 per hour. No booking required.
We offer 1 on 1 assistance but bookings are necessary.
The Bay Connect web site was built as a community Work for The Dole Project and was first launched in October 2004. To maintain the site it became necessary to upgrade the software to the Joomla CMS and has been updated to the latest Joomla CMS.
- WANT MYOB TRAINING? WE NOW WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH JILL FROM THE BOOKKEEPING SCHOOL AND HOLDING CLASSES ON A MONTHLY BASIS. This training can be accredited with further studies after the two day course.- Ring office for further details on dates of the next class
- Got a lap top with Windows 7 & 8.1 and need some help working our the new operating systems. Bay Connect now offers Windows 7 & 8.1 Training over 10 hours, 2 half days, in all facets of this new systems. Call the office for further details.
- U3A also hold card making classes at the office on the 1st saturday of each month. Please call Monday to Friday 9 - 1 pm for details For 2015 the card making classes will also be held on Wednesday from 12.30 pm in the Hervey Bay Community Centre, Charles Street, Pialba.
