Fraser Island

Across the Sandy straits to Fraser Island, the heritage listed longest sand island in the world which truly lives up to its aboriginal name, K'gari meaning Paradise. Organised ecotours may be undertaken or individuals may explore the island using four-wheel drives. Camping permits are required and can be purchased prior to going to the island.
