Welcome to the Bay Connect Community Page

dandinnahouseThe Fraser Coasts population of approximately 100,000 can access many services that focus on people and which help to maintain a healthy lifestyle for its residents and visitors. These services and recreational activities promote and strengthen the community ethos. Facilities and opportunities abound for all ages to participate in Sport and Recreation.

Organisations offering Support for People have helped to make Hervey Bay a city that cares for its community.  We plan and hope to raise enough money to build a new Community Centre.

Look at the new website  www.ourcommunitycentre.com.au to see what it will look like.

A number of Community Services work toward providing this necessary assistance and social infrastructure. The Bay is very fortunate to have quality Educational Services targeting all ages. Residents and visitors are offered opportunities to access many different Faiths and Religions.

Cultural activities play a major role in Hervey Bay with its Indigenous population and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds adding great variety to its festivals and events. A community and local government focus on Environment and Conservation maintains the unique natural heritage that surrounds the Fraser Coast region.
