Employment & Training

Hervey Bay offers all levels of education and training to prospective students and employers through a number of facilities including the University of Southern Queensland Wide Bay Campus, Wide Bay TAFE and private and public (not for profit) training organisations. Training facilities for young people and re-training facilities for other client groups are also available.

Bay Connect also offers a fully equipped computer training facility that is available for hire. Training staff are also available if required. Training Classes are held in all forms of computer training including Vista with discounts available to those on a centrelink benefit.
